Our Team

YNA recognise that our performance comes down to the quality, experience and availability of our nursing and carer staff as well as our service team. Our strength as an organisation stems from our ability to recruit and retain highly experienced nursing, care and healthcare support staff and efficiently and professionally place them with the support and training expected in an evolving industry. Our business has grown significantly over the past five years through growth and following our acquisitions of Health Management and Nursing Services Pty Ltd (HMNS) – the second largest nursing agency in Adelaide, the Oxley Group and Cairns Nursing Agency.

As an Australian company we share a strong sense of community with our nursing staff and clients. Our managers and staff participate in many local activities and YNA provide support for these staff including financial support and flexible hours to allow staff to participate in community activities. As an example our team comprises staff members who are also elected local councillors, volunteer paramedics, volunteer fire-fighters to name but a few.

YNA provides nursing, care and healthcare support staff to a broad group of clients which includes public and private hospitals, community care organisations, local councils, regional and remote health facilities and clients who require experienced temporary staff.

    June 2011


    In June 2011 YNA acquired Adelaide nursing agency Health Management and Nursing Services Pty Ltd ‘HMNS’. HMNS was established in 1998 and is a leading agency in Adelaide. The team from HMNS have merged with our Adelaide team and we have been delighted to welcome the office and nursing staff to the YNA team.

  • Code Blue
    October 2011


    In October 2011 YNA purchased the assets of Code Blue Nurses, Code Blue is a specialist nursing agency operating across Australia with a head office in Melbourne. At the time of this acquisition we established a Melbourne office to support the nursing staff.


    Our Melbourne based YNA team comprises experienced managers and allocations staff. The purchase of Code Blue in 2011 has allowed YNA to build a great team of nurses and to offer clients services across Victoria.

  • Commenced operations in Western Australia
    November 2012

    In November 2012 YNA was successful in winning contracts for the provision of healthcare staff in Western Australia and established YNA's perth office.

  • Oxley Group
    June 2013

    In June 2013 YNA purchased the Oxley Group, Queensland’s leading nursing agency. Oxley Health Services was established in 1989 and provides nursing staff to Public and Private health facilities including Metropolitan, Regional and Rural Public Hospitals as a member of the Queensland Health nursing agency panel.

  • Cairns Nursing Agency
    June 2013

    In June 2013 YNA purchased Cairns Nursing Agency which was a member of the Oxley Group. Cairns Nursing Agency was established in the 1970's and is a specialist nursing agency providing nursing staff to Far North Queensland and Rural and Remote Health Facilities across Australia.

  • Global Health Source
    April 2016

    In April 2016 YNA purchased Global Health Source a specialist medical recruitment company based in Perth. Global Health Source places medical practitioners, medical imaging professionals and allied health workers across Australia and provides immigration services to clients and health professionals seeking work in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Commenced operations in the Northern Territory
    June 2016

    In June 2016 YNA was successful in winning contracts for the provision of healthcare staff in the Northern Territory and commenced operations from Darwin.
